Economics Association Inauguration 2024

Economics Association Inauguration-19th Feb 2024 Economics department of MAO college of Arts and Science conducted it's association inauguration for the year 2024-25 on 19th February 2024 in the college auditorium. The programme started off with a prayer by Surabhi and team. The department showed its solidarity against genocide in Gaza by staying silent for 30 seconds. The welcome speech was given by Risfa, association secretary of Economics. The presidential address for the session was by Krishnan K M, Principal of MAO college. The session was inaugurated by the chief guest, Miss Saritha K, vice principal of Al Shifa Arts and Science College. The guest was then honoured by a momento. The logo of economics association Meraki 2024 was launched by the guest of honour. Momentos were then distributed to honour the athlets and topper(2020-2023) of economics department. Felicitation for the programme was given by staff secretary, Muhammad Aslam, Jafar sir, HOD of sociology dept., Thomas Daniel, office superintend, Basith Sir, HOD of History dept, Noushida Miss, HOD of English Dept and Aslam sir, assistant professor of economics dept. The session ended with a thankyou note by Faris.A second session was held by Miss Saritha K on the topic "How to face an interview board". The session was informative and had cleared doubts of all the students regarding interview. She gave a demonstration of how a proper interview should be and provided the audience with tips for overcoming the fright of interviews. The official session came to an end with cultural programmes by 2nd and 3rd Economics.
